The new ZyXEL NWA1100 is the smallest WLAN access point in the business series. If you are looking for simple hotspot solutions or networking with other access points, it trumps the competition with excellent wireless range and performance. The ZyXEL NWA1100 can be used in many areas of business and for high private requirements.

As the smallest business access point in accordance with 802.11b/g, the ZyXEL NWA1100 is part of the NWA portfolio. One typical area of application is use as a hotspot or for networking with several NWA access points, e.g. in hotels. The roaming function is supported by all ZyXEL NWA access points. The business AP also supports PoE (802.3af) and can be operated without its own power supply.

While the ZyXEL NWA3500 can be used as a high-performance multi-function device (bridge and AP) or the ZyXEL NWA3100 can be used to operate several SSIDs (multi SSID), the ZyXEL NWA1100 is ideal for simpler WLAN infrastructures. It is also possible to combine the ZyXEL NWA1100 and ZyXEL NWA3xxx.

Thanks to its new chipset, the ZyXEL NWA1100 offers a considerably larger wireless range and more performance. With the WDS (Wireless Distribution System) function, the ZyXEL NWA1100 can be used as an access point, repeater or AP/bridge. The AP/bridge function allows users to easily create a comprehensive network, mainly for remote access points.
